This picturesque bay, known for its expansive sandy beach and warm waters, offers a delightful break in your journey.

A Serene Haven with Northern Winds

Tribune Bay is well-protected from northern winds, making it a calm and serene anchorage in most conditions. However, be mindful that it can become challenging if the wind shifts from the south. In such cases, the bay’s open exposure can lead to a more turbulent experience, so it’s wise to keep an eye on the weather before planning your stop.

One of Tribune Bay’s standout features is its warm waters during the summer months. With temperatures often reaching over 70 degrees F, it’s one of the few places in the region where you can comfortably swim without a wetsuit. Here, you can enjoy a blend of historic and contemporary attractions. Walk along the Harbourfront Walkway, a scenic waterfront path, and indulge in fresh seafood at local restaurants offering panoramic ocean views.

A good place to provision with a grocery store walking distance from the dock.

When visiting the area we saw more crack pipes, and heroin needles on the sidewalk than another other place we have travelled by boat.
